Anybody considering traveling along the east side of Mt. St. Helens on WA Forest Road 25 should think twice. It has literally hundreds of 3-8" heaves on both sides of the road that will leave your low-slung Porsche screaming in agony. This road from Randle to Cougar just opened three weeks ago after a winter/spring that damaged a bridge, and the road crews have not had a chance to repair the road. It's the worst I've ever seen...
Wow. That's a real bummer. I drove that road last summer in my Outback and noticed it was a little bumpy, but I didn't think it was too horrible for one of my "sportier" cars and was hoping to maybe make that drive again, this year. Thanks for the heads-up.
