Well done John. Short wheelbase L's in green (any green) are an excellent choice!
You kept that one very quiet, where did you find it?

There's a small story surrounding the car (much like any of these cars)... I'll start another thread;)
Well done John!
lots of fun coming your way...
John,
You need to start a thread here. The racers crowd is on here. Between RC, AB and Alex no other opinions are worth having :)
I thought this was the thread :)
Funny, Thats exactly what I said to John. Get the S engine running as is (assuming good compression etc), slot it in with the 901 box, spend some $$$ on good suspension bushes and shocks, cage is and drive it like you stole it for a couple of years until your ready to upgrade it.
I am fortunate in having been with John when he purchased the cars and the 68L is a great race car base, and is going to make a very pretty race car.
Tim,
great minds think alike.
With fishie's skill he can get it going by PI 2014.
+1 - learn to drive it as quickly as you can, and then upgrade it. Otherwise it will be 2-3 years before you race it and your wife will talk you out of racing by then!!!
Paint it too !!
