Love it. Would drive the hell out of it!

I guess Porsche doesn't really care because all they are doing is restoring/modifying a P car and putting another badge on it - every car is unique and really at the end of the day anyone could recreate one - I really don't see any infringement
Don't know if Seinfeld has one but Leno does and he tends to like his cars "patina".
I admire the artwork but I would drive the hell out of it.
You never see them re-sold so that may tell you something about the joy they bring their customers or...they are just so rich it doesn't matter.

There were two at our annual, local Porsche show in Roseville at the park.
One was 'Dubai', the other I didn't catch the name of. Each was uniquely different. One had an Ed Pink carressed flat six and the other a Cosworth.....
Stunning, but somewhat misses much of what I love about the early longhood cars.
They seem so 'jewel like' and 'perfect'. I think Porsche wanted to offer the best, but not really allow their 911 to become a 'crown jewel'. The first 911s were serviceable and somewhat simple, with a modicum of race readiness. I would have a hard time biting down on the bridle and turning a half million dollar Singer loose on a track day or on a climb up the Grossglockner Pass.
They are hyper cool.
BUT, I would be beyond paranoid owning one.

'. . . The noise made my kidneys itch . . .'
'. . . I saw Dickinson walking over, clapping and grinning like a shot fox.
"We just want people to drive the damn things," he said . . .'
$575k.....
great article. Incredible writing...
It was easy to just dismiss this car . . . 'cause o' cost. I still remember C Harris commenting on the $30k wiring harness --- 'what are they f*cking smoking?' I thought
But there are enough OCD-inducing builds here, on Our Site, that Singer's kinda --- energy? . . . has an audience. Mr Dickenson does what a lotta Car People already do --- or want to . . .
He just does it more . . . as in WAY
For anyone building a Hot Rod 911 . . . the bar is now set preeeeeeetty high
Mr Dickenson also does what he does ---- for money . . . the b@stard!
Feel that?
But . . .
. . . looking at The Car --- as a car?
It's just spectacular. I mean --- totally over the top
Nobody --- and I mean ab-so-lutely nobody . . . does what Mr Dickenson does. I've seen little bits of what his cars have, in Hot Rod shows, usually . . . nickel trim, leather-work, upholstered trunks + engine compartments, fab'd-up gauges + levers + handles + knobs + switches --- little touches that don't call attention to themselves but, somehow, seem even more spectacular for it --- Singer's brass-plated alu lugs, for example . . .
. . . but packing it all? --- in One Package . . . that does >170 mph?
That is SO sick
The irony is --- having built this howling/sliding/jewel of a car . . . most people who could own/appreciate such a treasure . . .
. . . would probably have stroke actually using it
So --- a Huge Shout-out for the Guy who let R&T thrash his
Wonder who's paying that detail bill?
Gulp!
