A spot of F1 history

The famous gold British GP trophy is kept at my club and only brought out for podium presentation each year. Was able to get a quick snap while it was out of its case. All wins get recorded. Side of trophy here showing the 1950 winning driver at what is regarded as the first F1 World Championship race in 1950.
Something that was a feature of Silverstone event this year. Bit blurry image but was a quick snap.

Thought some folks here might appreciate a piece of Motorsport history as this trophy has been though some very skilled and famous hands during the last half century.
