If you look on side it might have serial number and model number sticker. From what I can see of the dial graphics and green tinge it appears to be later than radio with universal knob with raised centre on left rather than plain flat rubber knob used by Porsche at right. As you say incorrect dash cover plate and 72 would have had chrome surround. The radio range if Blaupunkt were face lifted progressively received a different size front around mid 70s. The graphics changed. This is face lifted model so post dates 72 car I’d suspect it’s the Frankfurt us stereo model late 70s. Having said that not a bad unit but but cu temporary with car at new ; it is USA model based on range to 108 and the AM FM button markings
