Correct Steel Wheel for '68 911?

The only thing my COA states about the wheels for my '68 911 is "Wheel Caps w/Porsche Crest", which it has. The wheels on it now are a set of 4.5x15 chrome steel wheels, with a date code in 1966, so they are obviously not correct to the car. Would the COA state something about chrome steel wheels if it came with them originally? I am looking for a used set of correct 5.5x15 wheels, and I'm not sure if I should be looking for plain steel or chromed steel wheels for the most originality for the car as built. Thanks!

they woudl definitly be 5.5s for a 68. chrome wheels were an option, painted where standard. some came with enamel crests some did not. mine came with 5.5 chromies with enamel crest hub caps. it would probably clarify and state on the coa if they were chrome or enamel crests, but im not 100% sure.

I have the 5.5 x 15 chromies date code 1/68 that came with mine. Currently running 6 x 15 flat fuchs.
